You know how Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source and many other games work on the Source physics engine? With Garry's Mod, you can spawn all the props (like, for example a barrel) and ragdolls, even spawn NPCs and create a variety of fun contraptions with the help of a bunch of in-game tools, put characters in silly poses and generally mess around with everything from any source game out there. Wanna see the TF2 spy backstab the companion cube? You can make it happen. Build a working rocket out of a sofa and a washing machine? No problem. There is nearly no limit.
